The Royal Conservatory of Music endorses MusiQ Club program (2010)
In September 2010 our MusIQ Connect Programs were endorsed by Stephen Green the Executive Director and Dean of the Royal Conservatory of Music and the Executive Chair of the Mississauga Music Education Foundation
The Adventus programs represent a well thought-out approach to music education, using the keyboard as the instrument of focus, and further to that, the voice and body.
The Adventus MusIQ programs facilitate the internalization of musical concepts through a well-balanced sequential formula that aligns with the Royal Conservatory of Music's Examination and Certification program for piano.
Although the practical skill development is happening on an electronic keyboard, this is moot point when kept in context. The purpose is not to develop concert pianists, but to give each child a well balanced start to music education, the ability to express themselves on an instrument, to allow them to discover their creative ability, and to build their confidence through performing in front of their peers, family and friends. .
